Frankly Speaking

Frankly Speaking is the monicker for Singer-songwriter and Indie Folk artist Jordon Frank. Filled with melodic riffs and catchy, foot-tapping hooks, its clear to see how bands like The Lumineers, Andrew Mcmahon and The Wilderness, and The Head and The Heart are heavy influences to his style and sound. Frank has had songs featured on MTVs "Sixteen and Pregnant" and the CWs "No Tomorrow", as well as several retail radio stations. Animal lovers should check out his song/video tribute to his first dog he lost from cancer in 2016, titled "Chasing Butterflies".

At a young age, Frank played piano and eventually joined in various choirs throughout middle and high school. While attending Rollins College in Orlando, FL, he studied music and graduated with a degree in music performance. After senior year, Frank moved to Los Angeles and along with producer Toby Semain, recorded his debut album titled "Edit, Undo". It didn't take long to get recognized, and his single "Wasting all my time" was nominated at the LA Music Awards for best punk vocal in 2007. The song was also featured on Saturday Night Magazine's compilation "Saturday Night Loud" aside other artists such as Lifehouse, Luna Halo, Kate Nash, The Midway State, and more. In 2009, Jordon decided to move back to his hometown of Cincinnati, OH. Since then, he has teamed up with Juno Award winning producer/songwriter Paul Otten and released 4 more albums and several singles.

Currently, Frank is working on his newest EP (working title: Life is Ugly, Life is Beautiful) and planning a solo tour in February.
